In my quest to live life to the fullest of my abilities I have been working on completing this book, "This book will change your life". And I highly recomend it. Its kind of crazy, but if you know me then it fits. Every day you are assigned a different task. Could be anything. One day I have to give as many compliments as I can, another day try a food that scares me ( I tried calimari). Other days are a little more extreme... for example, call the white house and ask to speak to the president (They give you the phone number), or eat nothing but asparagus for an entire day to see just how potent your urine will become. But one assignment coming up really has me thinking. Day 13: Send a letter to a mass murderer." Included in the list of adresses you can chose from is Robert Yates, Charles Manson, and pretty much every other mass murderer who lives in the US. Included is their prison adress to which you can send a letter. I fully intend on competing this task, I wonder however what I am going to say. Part of me just wants to send a paper stating, "There, I did it!" and the other part of me wants to research the guy, see what kind of life he had before the crimes. send him a letter asking him about his former life. But I have a week to ponder.
Moving on... Last week my friend Lynsey took us down town to river front park to ride the gondola. Something I have had on my list to complete for a while. It turned out to be really fun and Luke loved it.
Also last week after doing a run down town Tyson and Luke met me down there to ride the train. Another thing none of us has done. It was really fun until The train operator started blurting some false and skewed facts about the history of Spokane. If you know me at all you know I am a Spokane history buff, it annoys me when people mess up facts. Especially about the natives. But, we were having a happy family day so I kept my mouth shut.

The running is getting challenging. As many of you know I have officially signed up for the Leavenworth half marathon in October. I have started a training program to slowly increase my milage and work on my speed and form so I will be ready. Its hard for me to find the time right now to get all 5 runs in, one of which is a long run. But I am very goal oriented and I am really set on finishing that half marathon. And I am super excited because I found out that Davenport Washington does a 5k fun run in July. My family on my dads side is all from Davenport and much of my family is still there. My grandma runs it every year and always medals. So I am hoping to medal too, and get a picture with both of us holding our medals. Might be a funny dream but I want that thing framed. We will see how that works out.
I go to the CDA store here in about two weeks. Deffinately not looking forward to the drive and the time away from Luke. Work is going a bit better, a key player in my stress is on vacation so I am a little more happy. Hahaha.
Did you write the letter yet? How did it go?
